This Spring has been the most amazing rose season I have ever experienced. Under the expert care of our gardener, Ricardo Gutierrez, all of our rose bushes and vines have exploded in gorgeous blooms! I've been sharing a lot of images on Instagram and have been getting a lot of requests for the names of all of the varieties of roses that we have here at Patina Farm, so I thought a post was in order...
I planted these large, luscious Polka rose vines by my front pedestrian gate as well as the main car entrance to our home.
There is nothing that is more welcoming than these generous sized peach beauties...
We planted white Floribunda rose bushes in our front garden. A pale pink New Dawn rose vine climbs over our front door.
I may have over done it with the number of Eden roses by the Goat Garden... but they are so gorgeous... Perhaps I can never have too many!!!
Little Louise agrees with me!
Yes, more Eden rose vines cover our Garage "Barn".
Pearly Gates is another rose vine favorite... They frame the view from my Master Bedroom.
I planted a variety of pink and peach David Austin roses in my formal rose garden. My favorites are: Ambridge Rose, Evelyn, Gentle Hermione, Gertrude Jekyll, Heritage, Huntington Rose, Jude the Obscure, the Alnwick Rose, The Generous Gardener, The Wedgwood Rose, and Wildeve.
I know, I'm too old to giggle, but I can't help myself when I'm in my rose garden...
Our most recent additions to our rose addiction are these white Floribunda Rose Vines that will eventually cover our arbor.
We placed the arbor on the bottom portion of our land. It can be seen from the back of our house.
I hope you found this post helpful. As always, please feel free to ask questions in the comment section of this post!
Until next time, I'm wishing you a wonderful Spring from Patina Farm!
