Steve and I have been doing quite a bit of traveling recently. Our most recent adventure was last week when we took a quick trip to Nashville. Steve is doing an amazing project in nearby Leiper's Fork with interior designer Adam Hunter.
I decided to tag along and go to the Nashville Antiques and Garden Show. If you happen to love antiques and gardens as much as I do, I recommend trying to visit this show!
M. Fowler Antiques created one of my favorite displays. These mushrooms came home with me...
Every corner of Misty Fowler's booth was filled with unique European pieces.
I didn't write down the name of this vendor, but I loved these herbariums...
Finnegan Gallery had the most amazing garden antiques. The faux bois bridge was incredible. I would have loved to bring it to Patina Farm, but I was sure that the donkeys would love it... to pieces!
We were excited to see Doug and Carina, owners of Eneby Home.
If you find yourself in Nashville, I highly recommend visiting Garden Variety. Jeanette Whitson's new studio is gorgeous!
Jeanette has filled her shop with some of the most charming and unique pieces that I've ever seen...
It was a short trip, but very inspiring! Of course, it's always nice to be back home...
Upon our return, we were blessed with a nice rain shower. I always love the crispness of the morning after a night of rain!
The cumquats were all washed clean...
All of my vegetables thrive when they get a chance to have some rain water!
I put my beets back in the greenhouse after the rain, but it may be time to plant them in the raised beds...
It's back to work this week... and book signing! Yes, the Patina Farm books have arrived, and Steve and I are busy signing them. So for those of you who purchased signed copies of Patina Farm, you should receive them this coming week!
If you would like to see more of our design work and our travels, follow me on Instagram (VelvetandLinen).... I shared this image of the little gilt snail that I bought at the Nashville Antiques and Garden show on Instagram.
Happy Week!
