I hope you are all having a great week! We just finished remerchandising the shop, and I wanted to share some of my favorite vignettes with you (and a little Patina Farm surprise at the end of this post)...
I like using outdoor pieces when decorating inside spaces. These stone elements are a perfect example of items that would be happy anywhere.
I used a couple of these columns in my shower for my soap and razo. They also make great side tables.
We have several knew wicker pieces in the shop. Don't you love this weathered blue finish?
These wicker wing back chairs are so comfortable! I think I need a pair at Patina Farm!
Our clients can't seem to get enough of these vintage bread boards. They are perfect for serving breakfast or even for casual hors d'oeuvres.
We have dozens of new pillows in the shop. These indigo pillows, made from vintage fabrics, are great to mix and match.
We've mixed our antique Swedish pieces with some of our new favorite Swedish reproductions, like this versatile pair of demi lunes.
If you find yourself in Los Angeles, I hope you will stop by or your can visit us online!
Meanwhile, back at Patina Farm, we have a new addition....
A little back story first...
It was a few year ago that I first visited my friend, Penelope Bianchi's enchanting home. What she and her husband, Adam, created is beyond description. That first visit changed the way I think about design. Many of their design elements found their way into the design of Patina Farm.
I remember seeing Penny's floating duck house for the first time! When Penny explained that their duck house allows the ducks to make their nest in a place safe from pedators, I dreamed of one day having my own little duck haven.
After a tragic accident with the original duck house, Penny bought a new, sturdier version.

Now that the ducks have found our little pond, Steve decided it was time to surprise me with a duck house of our own for Valentine's Day!
Steve bought our duck house on the website Wayfair. I think he had help selecting the right one :)
