Hello! I hope you all had a great last couple of weeks of Summer vacation.
We've been working on a few projects around the house. The first one is our living room television cabinet. For the past three months we've been looking at our television inside a big plaster box. We have finally decided to create a three paneled folding screen that will hide the television when it's not in use.
Our friends at Polanco Construction fabricated the panels this weekend....
By the end of the weekend, our panels were in place. We are planning to paint them the same pale blue gray color of our steel windows until our custom Gracie wallpaper panels are complete.
It will look something like this when it's done...

The house is slowly filling up. For now I've paired this Klismos chair with an Italian desk...
I also brought all of these plaster pieces from the store...
Steve arranged them on the walls that flank the arched doors in the dining room.
We are also preparing for the arrival of our two mini donkeys, Georgie and Daisy...
This is little Georgie... We are so excited to have him and Daisy join us at Patina Farm in December.
We are planning to create two pastures for them to graze. There will also be a small "barn" that will include a place for them to sleep or hang out when its raining. It will look something like this...
