We are in the final construction phase at Patina Farm... the cabinetry, lighting, and all of the finishing touches...
At the beginning of the week, the two lanterns, from South of Market, were installed over the island in the kitchen. The pale gray finish complements the rest of the color palette.
The Calacatta marble was installed around the island sink.
The edge of the marble is beveled to match the edge of the wood top.
Small marble shelves were fabricated for either side of the stove.
They'll come in handy for storing oils and spices...
The marble counter was also placed underneath the windows.
We chose a slab with pale gray and brown veining. It looks lovely with the color of the windows as well as the brass plumbing fixtures.
The rest of the kitchen cabinetry should be finished in the next week.
