I can't believe the roof tiles are finally being installed!

Steve felt the need to climb up on the roof to make sure the tiles weren't too straight. I'm sure you can imagine how thrilled I was to see him up there (yes, I'm being sarcastic).

The tower is going to look amazing...

Here's a glimpse of the tower on the side of the house, over Nick's bedroom. You can get a sense of what the spire will look like once all of the tiles are in place.

The porch outside of my office is already becoming a great place to have lunch :)

Inside, the arched entry hall was plastered this week. Soon, the small antique door to laundry room will be hung.

The sink is simply suspended on the plaster wall.

As our move-in date gets closer, I've started to allow myself to think about furnishings...

As the finishes are installed in the house, the interior furnishings are slowly becoming more obvious to me.

This stage of construction is both exciting and a little scary... will all of our decisions come together to create the house in my head? We'll soon find out!
