Steve and I are driving to Encinitas tomorrow to C'est la Vie Antiques for a Patina Style book signing event.
When Sara Wardrip from C'est la Vie invited us to come for a visit, I immediately said "yes"! Being a lover of European antiques, I've wanted to shop at C'est la Vie for quite a while. A few of my favorite pieces in C'est la Vie's inventory...
Two 19th Century Swedish Demi Lunes with a gorgeous patina and lovely clean lines...
An early 19th Century Italian buffet with incredible painted finish...
A pair of 19th Century French Bergere that I want to place next to my fireplace...
A rustic Swedish Gustavian chest, circa 1800 with beautiful panel detailing and charming fluted legs...
And the best for last... a pair of arched windows that I will be asking Steve to tie to the top of our car. Hmmm...where can I put these?
We hope you can come join us for a fun afternoon of visiting and antique shopping!
Steve and I also want to thank Phyllis van Doren and San Diego Home Style Lifestyles Magazine for letting their readers know about this event!
