During a recent shopping trip for Patina Farm and a couple of other projects, Steve and I stopped into one of our favorite antique stores, Lief Almont in West Hollywood.
I immediately spotted this beautiful 18th Century Swedish Gustavian Secretary.
The depth of color and the charming details make this a one of a kind piece.
Pops of color, like this red Carl Larson chandelier.
Small dashes of vibrant, chalky color are also on pieces of the walls in the large bow string truss spaces.
I'd love to use this as an accent color at Patina Farm.
This brite pink was unexpected and so fresh!
Some of the other colors weren't quite so bold, like this burnished yellow...
and this gun metal gray.
The mix of gorgeous furniture pieces from several centuries and the addition of muted and bold colors gives Lief its unique atmosphere.
Whenever I walk into the second building my heart starts to beat a little faster.
Fortunately Steve enjoys our visits to Lief as much as I do, so he's perfectly happy to let me take the time to take in every detail, like these charming small trees by Tage Andersen. ...
and a group of deconstructed chairs.
Whenever I stop into Lief I always have to visit this lovely lady...
She has such a content look on her face, and why shouldn't she? She spends her days surrounded by beauty at Lief.
Check out my post from last year to see more images of Lief Almont.
Happy Weekend!
