It's been a long inspiring day!
I took a 6:30 flight to Phoenix, Arizona this morning to arrive in time to meet everyone at Sweet Salvage.
The entire Sweet Salvage team couldn't have been more friendly, hard working and talented!
Thank goodness I started taking pictures before all of the craziness started! Sweet Salvage was packed all day with excited shoppers from the minute the doors openned.
Each vendor did a fantastic job creating vignettes that reflected the "French Market" theme of this month's Sweet Salvage event.
This charming wicker bar cart didn't last long. I saw it being rolled out to the new owner's car during the first couple of shopping hours.
Some of the booths had neutral color schemes....
while others had splashes of "rouge" (ok, that's the extent of my high school French!).
Several displays had a dramatic black motif.
This French blue vignette was so romantic!
The scent of French lavender added an aroma of Provence to Sweet Salvage.
I loved this little armchair!
French garden elements : bird houses...
wonderful containers...
burlap always adds beauty.
weathered pots...
Looking at this display made me feel like going on a picnic and spending the afternoon painting.
More picnic inspiration.
What would a French picnic be without a few bottles of wine?
All of this shopping made me hungry!
One of my favorite small vignettes.
A few micro vignettes....
Did you miss all of this beauty today at Sweet Salvage? Don't worry, there is still time!
Sweet Salvage "French Market" will be open through Sunday!
Grab your shopping basket :)
Please give the Sweet Salvage family a hug for me!
Thank you to all of you who came to visit me at Sweet Salvage, including the fabulous women of The Willows, Sharron and Diane from On The Veranda, Caroline from Boho Farm and Home, Jo from English Rose Tea Room, my dear friend Laura from Decor to Adore, Nancy (wonderful mom of my friend Lisa Porter), my new friend, Interior Designer Teresa Ridlon and her gorgeous talented daughter (who is going to teach me to cook!), and my blog friend Poncie.

Before you start your weekend, I'd love you to pop over to Joni's Cote de Texas! C de T was the very first blog I discovered, and I'm still a devoted reader. Steve and I are so thrilled to be the topic of Joni's latest post. To show our appreciation, we asked Joni to let her readers pick their favorite piece of Steve's artwork to be given away on Cote de Texas. Check it out!
My flight just landed in Los Angeles... what a day! Happy weekend.
