A very dear friend of mine gave me this beautiful wreath for the holidays!
The edges of the faded pages from an old book have been embellished with gold and silver glitter, and several shimmery stars and keys hang from the bottom, adding some more holiday sparkle.
But for me, the most significant piece of this wreath is the plain manila card simply stamped with the word "believe". During the holiday season, the word "believe" usually has a religious connotation, but I see it having importance all year long...
To believe means to "accept as true". I know that when I "believe" rather than "hope" that I will be hired for a project, it is more likely to come true. This can be applied to every aspect of my life.
I'm going to keep this wreath in my office as a reminder to "believe" in 2011.
I believe it's going to be a great year for us all!
Steve and I are taking some time off to be with our family, but I want to wish you a very Happy Holiday and a Joyous and Healthy New Year!
