Like most of you, I receive tons of unsolicited emails. Most of the time I quickly click and delete. But occasionally I open an email and discover images that are swoon worthy. This is I experienced when I viewed my first email from AM Projects in Belgium.
AM Projects' clean Belgian aesthetic is exemplified in their extensive antique collection as well as their still life displays.
Most of their antique pieces have a rustic simplicity that I'm often drawn to.
Their white oak floors and paneled doors are features of the Belgian style that has become so popular in the Beta Plus books as well as my friend Greet's gorgeous blog, Belgian Pearls.
The chalky colors of their case pieces work beautifully with Belgian style dark gray granite floors and lime washed walls.
A wood armoire left in its natural state is elegantly filled with soft linens and towels that are also sold through AM Projects.
A charming figure is beautifully paired with a primitive console table.
My visits to the AM Projects site always provides simple display inspiration.
I've also saved AM Projects images for their architectural ideas, like this firebox placed high in a painted brick wall with wood storage below. This detail would be wonderful next to a farmhouse table, allowing the fire to be in full view during the meal.
Wouldn't this table be perfect in a kitchen?
AM Projects has a great selection of antique tables.
AM Projects' pottery looks so lovely displayed on top of this quirky little folk art table.
A group of mismatched rustic stools are ready to be used as extra seating or to provide a step up in the kitchen.
I adore this set of French metal chairs!
This Italian chair could sit next to the front door. A place to put on your shoes before you head out for the day. Or maybe just a place to drop a package as you come inside.
You may think I'm crazy, but I absolutely love this chair. Its exposed structure and modest upholstery look so beautiful to me!
Their displays bring out the beauty in the most ordinary objects, like this collection of wooden mortars and pestles....
and this assortment of antique cutting boards casually leaning against a white flat paneled wall.
A group of celedon pottery adds some color to the primarily neutral palette.
Celedon pots filled with orchids are illuminated by the glow of candles atop of weathered gray rustic bench.
I'd love to know what you think of the Belgian style of AM Projects!
