Every once in a while I like to dedicate a post to some of my favorite bloggers. These are creative people who have touched my life. Enjoy!

I've received several emails asking if I had help with the design of my blog. The answer is a very big "Yes"! When I started my blog, I had a vision of what I wanted it to look like, but I had no clue how to create my site. That's when my friend Mary introduced me to Hope Wallace.
Hope is a fantastic graphic designer who creates gorgeous web sites:
Hope truly amazes me with her talent. Not only does she design web sites, she also creates wonderful print logos and graphics!
And if that wasn't enough, Hope also has a beautiful line of cards:

Laura Ingalls Gunn and I have been blogging friends for over 2 years. We bonded over our love for all things old and European. On her blog Decor to Adore, Laura showcases her beautiful design work as well as her other passions in life.
Her latest passion is a collaboration with one of my other blogging friends, Andrea from The French Basketeer. Through blogging, Andrea and Laura discovered their love of French antiques and have now created Metis Linens.
I was so excited to see Laura and Andrea at their gorgeous booth at the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market. Isn't Laura gorgeous? (the beautiful Andrea was being a little photo shy yesterday!).
One of the themes of their booth was "Homme", which can be translated to "man" (but the French word has so much more meaning).
Stacks of French linens surrounded their wonderful antiques. I couldn't resist purchasing a few of their yummy sheets. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but great ideas are percolating already! How could I not be inspired by their beauty?
Pops of red in a vintage French sign and baskets of luscious apples added color to the creamy neutrals of most of the antiques and textiles.
Another hint of red on these vintage embroidered napkins.
Steve couldn't leave without these old French fencing swords. I can see them cleanly displayed on a white plaster wall. They are objects of simple beauty.
Steve caught me on the floor, writing my check and looking at all of Andrea's fantastic baskets in the Metis booth. I wish we would have taken a closer picture of the floor. Laura created a great diamond patterned floor covering out of a drop cloth. She mentioned that she is going to do a post about it soon. I can't wait!
