Vintage flea market inspiration was very present in many of the showrooms at High Point.
I'm sure most of you won't be surprised that many of my High Point purchases were old items. This warehouse owned by Go Home had some fantastic old baskets and leather suit cases that I bought for the store.
I loved how they displayed the collection of bird houses on the wall.
A series of old stained glass windows set the tone in this area of the warehouse.
Everywhere we looked there were large collections of unique antiques, like these old wall clocks.
These replicas of old trophies were some of the new Go Home accessories that were mixed in with the old pieces.
The Halo Showroom used big collections of vintage items to create a flea market vibe. Old fruit crates were haphazardly nailed to one of the walls.
An impressive collection of old baskets were hung on another industrial gray painted wall.
Apparently, I'm not the only one who loves vintage musical instruments. This display in the Halo showroom was so inspiring.
An old propeller made a unique base for a coffee table.
Halo makes some wonderful vintage inspired trunks. The combination of metal and leather appealed to Steve.
I think Halo does a wonderful job at designing objects with an aged feel.
They also know how to display large collections for a dramatic effect.
One bowler hat is charming, but a series of bowler hats is much more interesting!
Stacks of parchment colored luggage had just the right patina.
Gray walls were seen in many of the showrooms. They created a moody industrial atmosphere.
The Go Home Showroom had a similar feel to it.
They also mixed old items with new accessories.
I thought this was a very interesting piece. The wood cabinet above with industrial metal shelves below was something I hadn't seen before.
The Noir showroom was also painted gray! They had some lovely reproduction Swedish pieces with beautiful finishes.
They also had some great lighting options.
Trend Alert: Wonderful replicas of classic American pieces. The Hudson James line was one of my favorites.
I bought this buggy bench for the store. It would make a perfect mud room bench.
I also purchased this charming desk....
and a couple of these side tables.
The Hudson James collection had some charming designs, and the finishes were beautiful!
I can't wait until these pieces are delivered to the store!
What trends are you enjoying lately?
I still have more High Point information to share with you, but I have to get ready to take Leila to the Halloween Carnival at her school.
I hope you have a great weekend!
