Like many of you, I have e-mail subscriptions to several of my favorite blogs. It's a great way to make sure that I don't miss out on any posts. A Schematic Life, written by Michelle Morelan is one of the blogs that I subscribe to. Not only is Michelle a talented Interior Designer, she is also an amazing artist. Her latest project is a video series about rendering for interior design series. It's sure to be a huge success!
Several months ago Michelle surprised me with this beautiful rendering of my front door. I loved it so much that I gave it a permanent place on my blog as the link to the tour of my home.
Well Michelle has done it again! On Saturday I received my Schematic Life e-mail post and was so excited to see Michelle's beautiful rendering of my living room!
Thank you Michelle! You really captured the essence of my room.
I also want to thank those of you who dropped by Pure Style Home and left comments about my pantry door. Several of you asked me to post an image of my entire kitchen so you could see how the new wood pantry door looked with the rest of the wood in the room.
BEFORE:
Just to remind you of what my old Victorian pantry door looked like.
I asked my painter, Oscar to match the color of my old bread board.
AFTER:
Oscar did a wonderful job! The door is a perfect "aged pine" grey color. It really compliments the sign above my sink.
Stefan from Architect Design suggested that I might want to do a linen window treatment behind the glass to match the skirt under my sink. I thought that was a fantastic idea! I think that may be my next kitchen project. Thanks Stefan!
I'm taking the weekend off from blogging. I'm hoping to get a little rest so I can get over my cold (Steve and Charlie have it too!), plus I have to start doing our taxes (yuck!).
I'll be back next week. Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
xo
