Having a blog has been an amazing experience. I don't think there is any other venue that would allow me to share my work in such a personal way. No magazine would ever let me go on for pages and pages about my personal inspiration or let me talk about special family events in my life. Unlike a magazine, my blog lets me have a dialogue with you through comments and e-mails. I truly appreciate all of your input. I don't know if you realize how much our discussions clarify my designs.
Another result of having the blog is that I have started getting inquiries about online design services from readers who don't live here in Los Angeles. At first I thought it would be too difficult to clarify their personal style via the internet, but a couple of readers were really persistent. So, we gave it a try, and it worked out wonderfully!
For the past couple of months I've been talking to my friend, interior designer Angela Williams about different ways to refine our online design services in order to provide as much of a personal design experience as possible.
Angela and me with one of our design heros, Phoebe Howard during our recent trip to Atlanta.
Angela and I share the same design aesthetic, and over the course of our talks we realized that we could offer a unique one on one online design service if we worked as a team.
We are proud to introduce "Giannetti Home: Design Online" (please click on any of the boards to make them larger).
Here's how it works:
Every project is done under the guidance of Steve and me. As project manager for Giannetti Home: Design Online, Angela will work one-on-one with each client through e-mails and phone conversations.
Based on your input from your answers to our design questionnaire, your images of inspiration, and your photos and measurements of your space, you will receive:
-Personalized digital concept boards
- Our selections for you which may include: fabrics, paint and material samples for your project.
-A personalized shopping list of all of the items you need to purchase to create your room.
We are here to provide guidance throughout your whole project!
Here's an example of the concept boards that you will receive. Please click on the board to make it larger.
The first board lays out the design objectives for your space.
The "Key Purchase" board includes the information for the larger pieces in your room.
The "Accents and Finishes" board describes all of the smaller pieces needed to complete the room as well as paint selections and any other finish selections that have been made.
This final board lists the pricing for our services.
Steve, Angela and I are so excited about Design Online! Please feel free to contact me for more information here!
