I find that one of the hardest things to do is to have balance in my life. Having a husband, three kids, a job, and a blog can be quite a challenge. When my kids asked me to give up my computer during the holidays, I knew that perhaps they had noticed that my balance was a little out of whack. So I agreed to spend the holidays computer free. Although I wasn't quite able to stay off the computer completely, I think even my kids would admit that I spent a lot less time at my desk.
This is what I did instead....
I spent time truly appreciating my family...
I enjoyed hanging and admiring the beautiful art Steve creates.
I savored the small moments hanging my bird house in the courtyard...
planting my hydrangeas and thinking about how beautiful they will look when they bloom in the Spring...
creating succulent "floral arrangements"....
I enjoyed tea with Steve here and appreciated the outdoor room that we created...
I spent a great deal of time thinking about how truly blessed I am. I am so thankful to have all of you in my life. Your friendship and support have enhanced my life immeasurably. I wish you a very Happy New Year filled with Healthy, Love, Peace, and Beauty.
