I've always thought of my Santa Monica home as a Romantic Home, and now it is official! A couple of weeks ago I received an e-mail from Jacqueline deMontravel,
editor of Romantic Homes Magazine, asking to photograph our little Santa Monica cottage for her magazine. I was thrilled!
Could I be smiling any wider? Jacqueline and me, sitting on one of my first 1st dibs purchases. Yes, I was a 1st dibs gal when Michael Bruno first started his website 8 years ago.
We started the photo shoot in my living room. This time of year, my hydrangeas are the perfect color to accent this room (limey green and pale pink!).
My hydrangeas blend in with the embroidered screen that hangs on my living room wall.
My living room shelves are filled with shells, books and vintage sailor's shell art.
I'm hoping that my tall Swedish beauty will be featured in the magazine.
I have no idea what is up with my shirt in this picture (I look like Jerry Seinfeld in the "puffy shirt" episode), but I had to include a picture of the amazing photographer, Mark Tanner and his assistant Laura. Thank you!
Thank you Jacqueline, Mark and Laura for a fantastic day!
