I have used Merida Meridian natural fiber rugs on several jobs and always love the way they look and feel,so Steve and I have decided to carry their line of rugs in our shop. We ordered two of our favorites to have as samples in the shop, and I thought I would share them with you. They are all natural and pretty reasonably priced compared with other rug options.
We ordered a 10'x12' Bora Bora jute rug in the Sunrise color with a custom cotton binding in Natural. It looks fantastic with our cream linen slipcovers and the gray finish on the Swedish pieces. I like the fact that no dyes are used. The Bora Bora is a little thicker than a sisal or sea grass carpet. The texture is wonderful and soft to walk on.
To show a completely different look, we also bought a Silver Topaz rug made of Belgian Sisal. We used a Quarry linen binding.
Love the Basket Weave pattern. The Silver Topaz color really complements the gray finish of our Swedish pieces as well as the colors in the area rug we laid on top of it.
If you read Joni's blog, Cote de Texas (and if you don't, you should!) you may have noticed that we have some new Tara Shaw additions to the shop.
This little Gilded Iron Table found a place in the shop.....
The finish is wonderful, and it is so reasonably priced!
This Italian Silver Leaf Mirror has a new home....
Here!
I needed these tassels.
One is here...
a couple here...
and a couple are busy at my clients' home!
I can't wait to hang this Italian wood lantern in the shop.
This weekend I'm definitely celebrating with Julia because I'm hooked on my new favorite things, Merida Meridian rugs and Tara Shaw's new Maison collection!
