I want to thank all of you for leaving your comments on my last post about the inspiration for my new home. I am working on another post that will include more images of interiors and exteriors that Steve and I are sorting through. Steve has already started on the first design sketches. I'll share those with you as well. Of course, we still need to discuss all of the financial implications of this whole new house idea with our accountant tomorrow. Keep your figures crossed!
To thank you for all of your support, I'm having a give away. I have been in search of the perfect candle line to sell at Giannetti Home, and I have finally found it! It is funny how things work. Eva from Linneas Lights e-mailed me last week because she felt that her candles would be perfect for our shop, and she was right.
Linneas Light candles are made from natural soy in small batches (only three candles at a time). They are triple scented for ultimate scent throw. Each candle has two wicks, which gives a beautiful, clean burn across the liquefied wax. Eva told me that every step in the process of making her candles is touched by hand: from the blending of the scents to the hand stamping of the labels. All the materials used in her products are either recycled or recyclable, and of course the wicks are lead free and the soy wax doesn't release a bunch of nastiness in the air like paraffin.
Our wonderful Gina, who is now running our shop, chose the following delicious scents:
Amber: Irresistible and romantic rich amber blended with Egyptian musk.
Cashmere: Sophisticated and herbal with patchouli, vanilla and lime.
Pomegranate: Sweet pomegranate softened with an elusive blend of spices and woods.
Sweetgrass: Soft and clean...perfect for spring with fresh grass and sweet violets.
Yuzu: Mouthwatering Japanese grapefruit, other exotic fruits and water greens.
At Giannetti Home, we light a different candle every day. Everyone who walks into the shop tells that it smells fantastic!
I also love that each candle comes with a box of matches smartly placed inside the top of the lid. At $28 each they are a great gift idea!
So, I am giving away one of each scent. All you need to do to be in the drawing is to sign up for my blog e-mail subscription and leave me a comment.
I'll randomly choose the winners next Sunday.
Don't worry, if you don't win. You can buy one from the shop, if you like. Just contact Gina ([email protected]), and we'll send it to you.
