I stopped by the Farrow and Ball showroom yesterday to pick up samples of their newest wall papers. I am a huge fan of all of their products, so I was excited to check out their new additions.
The botanical inspired Rosslyn wallpaper is one of my favorite new members of the F&B wall paper line. All of their wall papers are block printed on real paper. This technique gives their papers a richness and depth that many other printed wall papers just don't have.
The St. Antoine wallpaper is an 18th century damask design that feels fresh when done in these
wonderful Farrow and Ball colors.
One of the nice qualities about Farrow and Ball products is that they look great in contemporary or traditional interiors depending on the colors you choose. The Ringwold paper below is based on an 18th century silk design, but it looks updated in this black and fuscia color way.
The Farrow and Ball website is a wealth of inspiration and information.
You can browse their wallpapers by searching by color or by pattern. You will be amazed at all of the gorgeous color ways their wall papers come in. I happen to like some of their deep colored wall papers,
like this Silvergate damask in a dark navy and denim blue....
or in crimson and burnt orange.
The Rosslyn in with mint leaves and cream flowers against an eggplant colored background.
I almost forgot to mention their wonderful line of striped wallpapers. You have to check them out!
The Farrow and Ball website features their newest colors. We just used their new color "Skimming Stone" in a bedroom. The light gray color looks fantastic with the "All White" trim. I will post pictures of it soon.
When ever we are selecting paint colors we always bring an assortment of the F&B
sample pots and paint brushes, so we can stick samples up on the walls. We find it essential to put up samples because paint colors can look very different depending on the light quality in a particular room.
The pots come in all of the 132 F&B colors.
Farrow and Ball also makes wonderful out door paint. So, you can paint your garden gate the perfect
"Teresa's Green" or "Vert de Terre".
I also discovered that they carry floor paint as well. I can't wait to try it!
I thought it might be helpful to see a few rooms that I have painted with Farrow and Ball paint colors.
We painted this entrance foyer "Farrow's Cream" and "Borrowed Light".
"Tallow" is a cream color with just a hint of pink in it.
"Vert de Terre" matched the green in the kitchen tile perfectly.
We used "Sky Light" in this stairway with "White Tie" trim.
"Slipper Satin" walls looked lovely in this Calcutta marble bathroom with "Pointing" cabinets and trim.
"Pointing" was used in this all white kitchen with Calcutta slab back splash and black granite
counter tops.
A creamy "White Tie" gave this room a beautiful glow.
