My client Tracy is always thanking me for her beautiful home.
Every time she does this I try to explain to her that I should actually be thanking her!
By allowing me to decorate the home that Steve designed for her, she gave me an incredible
gift.
Tracy describes herself as a little bit "Vegas". My challenge was to design her home so that it felt like her personality but didn't look like a guilded palace. Our relationship included a lot of me reeling her in and her pushing me. I would recommend a muted color scheme of blue green, cream, and camel. She would suggest a Ralph Lauren fur throw to put over the couch.
Her entry really sets the tone for the whole house. It is so elegant without being over the top.
The Quatraine chair in a creme and gray silk stripe turned out to be a wonderful focal point as you entered her home
Tracy fell in love with these guilded dining chairs. We found a peach and light brown striped silk to cover some of the chairs and a chocolate leather to cover the others. The silk chairs have a beautiful tailored skirt that touches the floor. By the time we were done designing them I loved them as much as Tracy did.
Tracy's study is over the top for sure. I adore it. The Ralph Lauren chairs are upholstered in a soft black leather. We did a square tufted ottoman in red velvet. Her zebra chairs fit in perfectly. So decadent!
The Woman's Powder Room is a jewel of a space. The hand painted mural is gorgeous.
I love the chandelier, but the cherub sink fixtures are my favorite!
