Although I still have so many beautiful Belgian pictures to show you, I thought we could take a little trip to the Paris Flea Market today...
Steve and I were also looking for architectural elements to include in the design of our new home Patina Farm. I loved the gray doors in the back of this shop, but unfortunately they were too tall. The search continues...
There was an abundance of vintage mannequins in several of the shops.
Each stall took on the personality of the individual merchant.
A collection of portraits of the members of a large family would make a fabulous focal point in a hallway or in a library.
Patina filled the stalls!
Steve had to stop to admire this beautiful vintage drafting table.
We spent several hours walking the aisles of the "Marche Paul Bert".
The chalky patina of this antique piece of plaster ornament was perfection!
After hours of Flea Market shopping, we are all exhausted and thirsty. Thank goodness we were in Paris where wonderful cafes line every street. We spent some time drinking and laughing about the funny stories of the day. This was a day we won't forget!
Have you ever visited the Paris Flea Market? I'd love to hear about your trip!
