Tomorrow is the first official open house for the Cliffwood Residence that Steve and Paul just completed. Since most of you live too far away to visit I though I would give you a little tour...
Meridith Baer staged the entire main house.
The walnut paneled library is to your left when you enter. Macie let us borrow several Clay Wagstaff pieces to put on the walls.
I already did a post about this two story library, but it's too pretty not to include in the tour!
I don't remember showing you the hidden bar behind one of the paneled walls.
I think this room is just as beautiful up here too!
The dining room is across from the library. The chandelier that Paul selected is perfect for this home.
Steve designed an ebony curved cabinet for the powder room. Paul selected the Rosslyn wallpaper from Farrow and Ball.
The onyx counter looks beautiful with the hammered nickle sink.
The living room has a wonderful view of the backyard. Macie let us borrow a MaryBeth Thielhelm piece to hang above the mantel. I really want to put it in my own home!
I definitely would need to learn how to cook better if I had this kitchen. Steve's curved hood design is still my favorite element.
The open floor plan of this home is perfect for the way we live.
This is where I would live most of the time if this were my home. The seating area between the breakfast table and the kitchen would have come in handy when my kids were smaller. A great place to keep an eye on little ones when your in the kitchen.
Time to go downstairs to the basement...
I know where Steve would spend all of his time if this was our home.
The stone wall and wood beams give this room a masculine feel.
I would definitely need to start drinking more wine if we had a wine room like this.
There would be no complaining from me about doing laundry if this was my laundry room!
Let's take the elevator to the second floor...
The master bedroom! What more can I say?
This is the view from the balcony off the master bedroom. Not too shabby.
This would be a wonderful place to start my day. So serene.
I don't really take many baths, but I could start!
Of course the shower is pretty spectacular as well.
My kids would love this upstairs hang out.
This upstairs laundry would come in handy.
The back of the home is just as beautiful as the front.
Living in Los Angeles means a lot of outdoor entertaining. Wouldn't this be the perfect place to spend time with friends?
Nick and his friends would love to play football on the grass. I think I'll just hang out by the pool....
or in the art studio/pool house that Steve and I staged.
I could sit in here and still be able to watch the kids in the pool.
It's time to relax and watch this gorgeous sunset! To view more picture of Steve and Paul's home check out the official website here.
