Thank you to Nan Oshin, photo editor for C Magazine, and the incredible photographer Lisa Romerein for two wonderful days of shooting our home and the places we love in Channel Islands Harbor.
Lisa's photo assistant Yolanda, Lisa, Nan, me, and Steve
If you are not familiar with Lisa's work, all you have to do is open the pages of the new Santa Barbara Magazine book as well as the latest Michael Smith book to view her incredible images. Yes, I am completely unworthy!
Steve and I made a pathetic attempt at taking a few of the pictures that will be in the article that will be in the April issue of C Magazine.
I liked the simplicity of this image. Just a beautiful Swedish chair, my Italian sconces, a few vintage botanicals and my lovely English tub.
We bolted these old carved pine doors onto our dining room wall to make up for the lack of architectural details in our home.
I loved how the "Charlie" chairs looked in front of Steve's wood surf board.
My Swedish clock found a new home here for a while. Frasier was exhausted by the whole photo shoot and fell asleep on our "Courtney" sofa with our Claremont and Cowtan and Tout pillows.
Steve and I. Lisa was kind enough to take this picture with our digital camera.
This is the first picture we have of both of us since we had children!
I promise to post the real gorgeous images that Lisa took as soon as the April issue of C is on news stands.
