During the design process it is important to take the location of a project into consideration.
This Condominium is located on the water in Vancouver, Canada.
The view of the water and mountains is so spectacular that we used it as inspiration for the color palette of the interiors.

We chose clean lined pieces that reflect the architecture of the space. The textural fabrics such as the leather on the couch arms and the ribbed blue fabric on the barrel chair provide interest.
Because this is our clients' summer home, we used natural linen fabrics and glass tables. The leather and contemporary furnishings added a refinement to the design.
Using some less expensive pieces allowed us to splurge on the silver blue silk rugs. They shimmer just like the water in the view.

The muted color palette is a wonderful back drop for the amazing Asian art pieces that our client has collected over the years.

The Kerry Joyce book cases reminded us of the suspension bridges across the water.

Wow, gorgeous job on this project . Great idea to choose the colour palette from the view. And what a lovely view it is - I recognize the stunning Stanley Park as we live about an hour from there....Fantastic location for a summer home.
The silver blue silk rugs will also be gorgeous in winter when the view will change to snowcapped mountains.
Hope you enjoyed Vancouver !

Please have Jack get in contact with me. I was in 314 Walsh Hall and he and Peter were in about 308 Walsh hall. I've never forgotten the Champagne he shared with Nadine and myself in Manhatten. She passed away in1995 from concer. I am doing a $5b (plus or minus $1b) Project here in the City of Jefferson and sure could use his help; or at least his company. My sister-in-law was Geonine Scott and I think she is now a Moriarity living in Montecito. (M.B. was her husband.) Terry Larkin, 505 ELLIS BLVD., City of Jefferson, MO 65101-5111., 573.693.7121

How did the horrific nature of fighting in the Great War serve to create bonds of camaraderie between soldiers (and even between enemies), while at the same time creating a sense of alienation from civilians?
