This family room is a perfect example of why I love adding color to walls.
The leaf green encloses this room and makes a two story space feel cozy.
I kept the color on the large sectional neutral but added color and texture with fun pillows.
I added a chalky blue to some of the walls in the living room. It's a wonderful color next to the wood of the Asian cabinet.
The Indian carved mantle looks wonderful on the blue wall.
A colorful block print fabric from Claremont gave my client's sentimental chair a whole new life.
The pillows on the living room sofa bring in more of the green and add a graphic element to the room.
I already did a post about these chairs, but they need to be mentioned here as well since they are such a wonderful part of this space. I love the idea of my clients sitting with their cups of coffee in the morning and enjoying a relaxing moment to start their days. It's such a sunny, happy room.
